Others may charge less, but you get what you pay for when it comes to a puppy!  We do extensive genetic and health testing, which ensures you are getting the best puppy on the market!  Unlike many breeders, our puppies are born and live inside our home, they are held and played with several times a day, and socialize with other dogs and puppies.

Genetic Testing:

Deposit and Extended Stay:

Deposit: We require a refundable $500 deposit to secure your puppy. We will work directly with you to understand the demeanor, confidence level, size, and color of your new puppy and match it with your lifestyle.

Extended Stay: At Summit Doodles, we believe in clear communication and transparency, which is why each litter has predetermined 8-, 12-, or 16-week+ go-home dates. If your puppy’s scheduled go-home date falls on a weekday, we’re happy to keep your puppy until the following Saturday at no additional charge, making pickup more convenient for your family.

If you need your puppy to stay beyond that Saturday, we’re happy to continue caring for them for $50 per day until they’re ready to go home. During their extended stay, your puppy will continue receiving daily socialization, confidence-building, age-appropriate training, and reinforcement of good manners, ensuring they continue to learn and thrive while in our care.

Our goal is to make the transition home as smooth and stress-free as possible—for both you and your puppy.

Pricing and Training Options:

8 week old puppy is $4,500. At 2-3 weeks old, we start the puppies on a socialization and training program utilizing many of the protocols and lessons from the Puppy Culture Program. As soon as our puppies can walk they are introduced to textures, wobble boards, and brain stimulating exercises. Once they are old enough to go outside, they conquer obstacles of different shapes and sizes to build confidence and problem solving skills. This is when we really start to see personalities come out and our confidence training begins. By eight weeks of age, our puppies have a solid potty training foundation, know how to use a dog door, are highly socialized, are taught to sit calmly for affection, do not charge an open gate, are crate trained, and much more.

12 week old “Confident and Respectful” puppy is $7,500. Want a puppy, but can’t fathom getting up at night or struggle with the thought of potty training, creating a routine, or safely socializing your puppy? If so, this package is for you! Post eight weeks old your puppy will transition from their playpen to being a member of our pack. It’s time to grow up, the foundation we created up to eight weeks continues to grow. They quickly learn how to tether at different stations in our home, routinely go for car rides, learn how to walk on a leash, sleep through the night in a crate, are groomed and bathed weekly, and constantly challenged to grow their confidence level. A confident puppy leads to a well-adjusted adult dog that is easier to train, more adaptable to new situations, less likely to develop anxieties or fears, and overall provides a more enjoyable companionship. Your puppy will go home wormed and vaccinated, receiving their 8 and 12 week vaccines.

“Trained Puppy” is $10,500. Our approximately 4-month-old puppy allows you to skip the overwhelming puppy stage and start with a beautifully prepared companion who already has the foundation for success. Your puppy will experience a comprehensive training program with both Summit Doodles and Ridgeside K9 Colorado Springs, giving them a strong foundation before they ever come home to you. While with Summit Doodles, we focus on developing the puppy’s foundation by encouraging curiosity, building confidence, continuing age-appropriate socialization, and establishing reliable potty-training habits.

Your puppy will then spend two weeks in a board-and-train program with Ridgeside K9 Colorado Springs, where they will continue their socialization and learn foundational commands including sit, stay, place, and impulse control. Their training will also include real-world experiences such as:

• Greeting and accepting friendly strangers
• Sitting politely while being petted
• Remaining calm and composed in crowds
• Walking calmly around other dogs
• Developing confident, controlled responses in highly populated environments
• Practicing appropriate behavior in places such as parks, grocery stores, and sports fields

The goal is to send your puppy home confident, well-mannered, socialized, and ready to continue growing with your family.Your puppy will also go home fully dewormed and current on age-appropriate vaccinations, including their 8-, 12-, and 16-week vaccinations and rabies vaccination. This means that, assuming your veterinarian agrees with the vaccination schedule, your puppy should not need another routine vaccination appointment until approximately one year of age.

“Puppy with a Purpose”is $15,000. Our approximately 6-month-old “Puppy with a Purpose” is designed for families who want the advantage of bringing home a puppy with a significant training foundation already in place. By six months, your puppy has had the time, consistency, structure, and individual attention needed to develop into a confident, responsive, and well-mannered young dog. Our Trained Puppy Program establishes the essential foundations, including sit, stay, place, impulse control, and everyday manners, while helping your puppy develop the confidence to navigate the world successfully.

The experience continues with advanced off-leash e-collar training through Ridgeside K9 Colorado Springs, taking your puppy’s reliability and responsiveness to the next level. The goal is a puppy who can confidently accompany you—not simply around the house, but into the life you want to live together. This package is ideal for families looking for a loyal, exceptionally well-trained companion who can travel, explore, socialize, and participate in everyday activities with confidence and control. It is also an excellent starting point for families interested in pursuing therapy or service-dog work.

For those considering a future service-dog path, Summit Doodles and Ridgeside K9 Colorado Springs can establish important foundational behaviors and skills during your puppy’s training with us. Specialized service-dog training would continue after placement based on the individual dog and the specific needs of the family.

If you’re interested in training, please book it (requires a 50% deposit to reserve the spot) as soon as you submit your puppy application. The full amount must be paid prior to training starting, and once training starts, no refunds will be given. If you cancel at least 30 days prior to training starting, we will refund the full amount if we can replace the spot, or 25% if we can’t fill the spot. If you enroll your puppy into our training program, we will cover all costs associated with basic care while they are with us. This includes the highest quality food, chews, toys, and all vaccinations and worming medications deemed necessary by our veterinarian based on their age and circumstance.

We want your newest family member to be a loving member of your family for a very long time and to live a very healthy life with your family.  We go to EXTREME lengths to ensure this will be the case and that’s why our puppies may be priced higher than others out there.  Add on options include transportation for your new puppy to you, extended stay training options, puppy starter kits, and more.

Contract:  Please review the Puppy Purchase Contract prior to submitted your application.  The contract contains important information about our strict spay/neuter requirements, our health guarantee, and much more.  By submitting your application, you are certifying that you have read and agree to all terms of the contract.

Details:  Your puppy will come with the following:

3. 30-day trial pet insurance from Trupanion

6. Welcome home package includes 30 days worth of food, chews, treats, toys, records, and more

Travel Packages:  If you are local to Colorado Springs or within a two (2) hour radius delivery is free of charge. Not local? No Problem! We have packages for transporting your puppy to to your home:

1. Local Commuter Package ($500): We will drive 2- 4 hours to deliver your puppy
2. Commuter Overnight Package ($950):  We will drive 4 – 8 hours to deliver your puppy
3. Unattended flight (TBD based on flight cost and transportation cost to the airport): We will fly your puppy out of Colorado Springs Airport or DIA Airport UNATTENDED, where you will pick up the new puppy.
4. Attended flight (TBD based on flight cost and location):  We will accompany your new puppy on a flight out of COS Airport or DIA Airport to the airport of your choice, where you will pick up the new puppy.
